Spiritual Friend Coaching

"A spiritual director is one who helps another to recognize and to follow the inspirations of grace in his life,

in order to arrive at the end to which God is leading him."
— Thomas Merton

At its heart, Spiritual Friend Coaching is about paying attention.

It is a sacred conversation in which another person walks alongside you,

helping you notice where grace is already at work in your life

and where God may be inviting you next.

A spiritual friend is someone who accompanies you on your spiritual journey with prayerful presence,

deep listening, and compassionate curiosity.

A spiritual friend's primary role is not to provide answers or tell you what to do.

Instead, they create a safe and welcoming space

where you can listen more deeply to your own life, your own heart,

and the gentle movement of God's Spirit within you.

In our time together, you are invited to bring whatever is present—

questions, doubts, joys, losses, decisions, transitions, or longings.

Together we listen for where grace may already be at work.

As a spiritual friend, I hold you in prayer and listen deeply with you.

I seek to set aside my own agenda so that I can listen not only to your words,

but also to the movement of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Many people find spiritual friend coaching helpful when:

They are experiencing a life transition or loss.

Their faith is changing or evolving.

They long for a deeper spiritual life.

They are seeking clarity or discernment.

They feel disconnected from God, themselves, or others.

They simply desire a companion for the journey.

This is not counseling, therapy, or problem-solving.

It is sacred conversation—an opportunity to pause, notice, and respond to the invitations of the Spirit.

You do not need to have your faith figured out.

You simply need a willingness to show up as you are.
